PETROMIN PETROSHIELD SPECIAL

APPLICATIONS

Petroshield Special are recommended primarily for use in high out-put corss-head diesel engines in marine service, particularly those requiring system oil for piston cooling. In these applications, they will prevent or reduce deposit formation in piston cooling spaces, maintain piston-cooling efficiency and reduce the incidence of piston crown cracking. Also recommended as crankcase oil in auxiliary engines.

PETROMIN PETROSHIELD MG

APPLICATIONS

Petroshield MG is intended primarily for lubricating cylinders and bearings of engines operating on distillate fuels particularly in navel applications and as a crankcase lubricant in large cross-head type diesel engines operating on residual or high-sulfur fuels. It is recommended for cylinders and bearings of medium-to low-speed diesel engines in naval vessels where oil meeting US Military Specification MIL-L-9000H is required.

Petromin PETROPOWER-4 / PETROMAR-4

DESCRIPTION

Petromin Petropower-4 Oil Series is highly alkaline Trunk Piston Engine Oil for crankcase and cylinder lubrication requirement of medium-speed high BMEP marine engines burning high sulphur residual fuels (3.0% - 5.0% sulphur). They are developed for ‘flame ring liners’ operating on high sulphur residual fuel in these engines. Petropower-4 shall take care of TBN depletion problems since in some engines it will be severe due to low oil consumption.

APPLICATIONS

Petromin Petropower-4 Oil Series is recommended as crankcase engine oil for medium speed high BMEP engines, operating on high sulfur fuels. Particularly suited for ‘flame ring liners’ fitted engines such as WARTSILA, MAN (B&W) latest models designed for low oil consumption. Petropower-4 oil can also be used as ‘top up’ oil to increase TBN level in medium speed trunk piston engines.
