PETROMIN PETROSHIELD SPECIAL

APPLICATIONS

Petroshield Special are recommended primarily for use in high out-put corss-head diesel engines in marine service, particularly those requiring system oil for piston cooling. In these applications, they will prevent or reduce deposit formation in piston cooling spaces, maintain piston-cooling efficiency and reduce the incidence of piston crown cracking. Also recommended as crankcase oil in auxiliary engines.

PETROMIN PETROSHIELD MG

APPLICATIONS

Petroshield MG is intended primarily for lubricating cylinders and bearings of engines operating on distillate fuels particularly in navel applications and as a crankcase lubricant in large cross-head type diesel engines operating on residual or high-sulfur fuels. It is recommended for cylinders and bearings of medium-to low-speed diesel engines in naval vessels where oil meeting US Military Specification MIL-L-9000H is required.

DESCRIPTION

Petromin Petropower-2 is Trunk Piston Engine Oil Series for crankcase lubrication requirements of high-output medium speed engines and other similar marine type application. They are formulated from solvent-refined paraffin thermally stable base oils, combined with an effective additive package providing enhanced load-carrying ability, efficient oxidation stability and effective dispersancy/detergency. They provide effective acid neutralization and alkalinity retention in service, even when high-sulphur fuel is used. They are capable to handle heavy residual fuels with high asphalt content.
