Petromin TJ & DC Compound

DESCRIPTION
Petromin TJ & DC Compound is a premium quality unleaded compound containing copper flake, graphite and other natural extreme pressure anti wear additives. It is a Tool Joint and Drill Collar Compound specially formulated to prevent excessive circumferential make up and has a very high static friction factor that helps prevent downhole joint makeup when excessive drilling torques are encountered. Full Hydraulic joint efficiency is maintained allowing joint shoulder faces to mate completely without stand off or deformation.

APPLICATIONS

It is recommended for all oil field threads; drill pipe, collars, tools and jacking systems.It is also recommended for jackup rig leg racks and pinions through its combination of water resistance, extreme pressure resistance, tackiness and suitability to both manual and automatic application.
